The Lord is King Forever and Ever

Eritrea-
This country on the Red Sea in Africa has many needs.  They are in and out of conflict with their surrounding countries, 50% of the people live on less than $1 a day, and there is much persecution of Christians and the church.  Missionaries are not allowed and most have been run out.  Pray for radio and TV ministries, and for the availability of resources in the right languages.

Estonia-
This is a country on the Baltic Sea.  They have been through much, but have done very well in establishing good government since their independence from Russian in 1991 when they established a multiparty democracy.  Pray for wisdom as the government continues to develop.  There was severe persecution under the Soviets, but now there is freedom of religion with no state religion.  Much outreach is needed.

1 Chronicles 16:37-18:17
This book has begun to recall the stories from earlier books.  Today's reading was about David bringing the ark back to a tent that was set up as the house of the Lord.  The Levites went to retrieve the ark and then performed the jobs necessary at the tent.  David decided he wanted to make a house for the ark, but God told him that his son would build it and not him.  Then David went and defeated his enemies.

Romans 2:1-24
This is talking about knowing God's law and whether or not you obey it.  Do we know the law but choose to not follow it?  Do we know the law, but judge others against the law that we do not keep ourselves?  Or what about those who don't even know the law?  My my heart look only at my own actions and not pass judgement on others.  I have been forgiven so much... who am I to decide what others should be forgiven?

Psalm 10:16-18
The Lord is king forever.  He hears the afflicted and does justice on their behalf.

Proverbs 19:8-9
Sense and understanding lead to good, lies lead to death.
