Dominica-
Small island in the Caribbean.  Independent from France, which determined much of its religious and cultural development.  Pray for Christians there, and especially pastors who have to take second jobs because of the economy and then get burnt out.

Dominican Republic-
Also in the Caribbean, but much larger.  Catholic for the most part.  There are problems dating back to Columbus' conquests.  Churches work out of poverty which makes them heavily dependent on aid and does not allow them to minister effectively.  There are growing numbers of Haitians in the country and they are not treated well.
