Daniel 4
Today's chapter was written by king Nebby. He was telling about his second dream from his own perspective. He had another dream and asked Daniel to interpret it because no one else could. Daniel told him, basically, that he would be going crazy. He would be driven away from his people and live in the wilderness for seven periods until he knew the Most High God ruled over him and his kingdom. All of this happened, and Nebby learned to "praise and extol and honor the King of heaven."
2 Peter 1
Peter starts out by saying that because we have been saved, we need to have faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, brotherly affection, and love. If you have these qualities, "they keep you from being ineffective and unfruitful." Those are two things I do not want to be! And we know that we are able to have all these things because of the greatness of Jesus and His majesty.
Psalm 119:97-112
The first section says that the writer knows the law extremely well and that he likes it very much.
The second section talks about how the Lord's word lights his path and keeps him safe from his enemies.
Proverbs 28:17-18
Anyone who has another's blood on them will be running forever. Walking in integrity leads to deliverance, those who walk crooked will fall.
