...not what they do.

Exodus 17:8-19:15
Moses' father-in-law helps him to delegate, and then Moses meets with the Lord on Mount Sinai.  The Lord has told Moses to prepare the people because in three days He will come to the mountain in a cloud and the people will hear His voice so they will believe Him forever.

Matthew 22:34-23:12
Now the Pharisees and Sadducees are working together to try to catch Jesus in His words, but He answers them so well that "from that day no one dared to ask him any more questions." verse 46  Then He tells the crowds and His disciples to be careful to not be like the ones who kept asking Him questions.  Jesus said to do what they tell you, but not what they do because their actions are not only for show.  My prayer is that I would not only serve Him with my words, but that my actions would be consistent with what I say.

Psalm 27:7-14
Asking the Lord for protection.

Proverbs 6:27-35
There are consequences for our actions.  We cannot hold fire and not get burned.  In other words, we should not expect for our sins to not effect us in some negative way.
